Tato hra má potenciál a určitě bude mít budoucnost. Člověk musí brát ohled na to, že hra teprve vyšla(předběžný přístup) a spousta věcí bude do hry teprve vložena a některé chyby odstraněny. Po chvilce hraní se do hry rychle dostanete. Hratelnost je dobrá craftění, stavění, lovení i zabíjení vampíků je v tuto chvíli na dobré úrovni, ale samozřejmě je co zlepšovat.Dovolím si napsat, že je to směsice několika her jako jsou: ARK, 7 days, Forrest, Green hell.... Tak věřím, že to tvůrci vezmou za správný konec.

Jako vážně tuhle hru dělá jeden člověk? Některá větší studia by se měla stydět.. V celku pěkná grafika, propracovaný crafting, pohodová hratelnost. Na to, jak je to brzký early access, tak to za těch pár stovek rozhodně stojí.

Edit: S odstupem několika měsíců musím tuto hru a jejího vývojáře opět pochválit. Hra je čím dál lepší, propracovanější, ale hlavně - Early Access funguje na jedničku, vývojář skutečně naslouchá hráčům a jejich dobré nápady a připomínky implementuje do hry. To se vidí málokde.

Žánr survival, tedy boj o přežití, se stal u hráčů velice populárním a oblíbeným tématem. O tom svědčí velké množství her, které na nás vývojáři chrlí napříč všemi platformami den co den, a řada dalších zcela jistě bude následovat. Avšak ne každý survival si zasluhuje vaši pozornost. The Infected je naštěstí opakem a vaši náklonnost si zaslouží! The Infected je prvním herním počinem vývojářského týmu DigX studios a mohu vám hned na začátku propálit, že se jim opravdu povedl.

Insiprace z The Forest a Green Hell?
Fanoušci survival her během hraní musejí zaznamenat, že The Infected se mírně podobá některým známým titulům tohoto žánru. Stavění budov vám bude nápadně připomínat The Forest, crafting systém a inventář je zase podobný realistickému hardcore survivalu The Green Hell. V případě zombírů (poznámka autorky – nejedná se o překlep) vám dost možná vyvstane na mysli 7 Days to Die. The Infected si z těchto her vzalo to nejlepší a nebyl to krok vedle. Vznikla tak chytlavá a zábavná indie hra.

I have watched over 100 hrs on youtube. So my son built me a 3070 32GB ram PC to play 5 days 65hrs.

at 56yrs Old anyone at any age can have Fun. Arrow to the head of an Infected or bugger it over with your new Katana, the options for traps and Building Designs are Limitless. Someone built a Church. Build in the Ocean on a cliff face, anywhere. Just have fun & don't forget the DISCORD for tips from pros or the Developer. Cheers

i am a 70 year old female. and not good on the computer but I love the game. I have over 100 + hr. playing already and only had it 1 month. thanks for a great game.

Zase po nějaké době hra, kde autoři pochopili podstatu slova hra. Není sice dokončena a člověk jí může vytknout řadu drobných podivností, nedodělků a nedostatků, ale už v této chvíli ji kladu mnohem výše, než obdobnou hru Forest. Mimochodem, je v ní geniálně naprogramována bouřka, rozdíl proti reálné bouřce nevidím. Za mě 85 % k dokonalosti.

Really great game but missing coop really really needs coop. Please make it coop.

Great game and enjoying myself playing it. I have a few recommendations based on the few hours that I have played, and based around several other survival games that I have extensive hours in:

1) Multiplayer is needed.
2) Random map generation
3) Zoomable Map
4) The ability to place map markers
5) Brick forge load/unload is clunky
6) Too many "click" executions to get stuff done.
7) Beasts of burden - sick of walking everywhere (too slow)
8) Improve tool wear
9) Food spoilage is excessive
10) More box slots
11) Active mini map and compass visible during travel (main screen)
12) Enable clothing repair. Wear rate is way to high.
13) Benches/Stations needs an accessible recipe list (right click)
14) Food that has been dried should not spoil at the same rate as other food when taken from the rack. The meat is essentially "cured."
15) Provide a means to reduce foliage clutter. For older players like me I find it to be a bit overwhelming and distracting.
16) Gamma control would be nice.
17) Icon size/Stored Item: Cloth and Kevlar are building materials. Why is the Kevlar icon 5 times the size of cloth? Wasted space in the box. Same with several other materials.
18) Resources. Too much lead and not enough iron.
19) Rocks in the caves that are stuck in walls and in the water (on occasion) do not produce resources when mined.
20) Make tools dragable from your backpack into your inventory.
21) Mineral Extractor pull rate is too slow. For some reason stone comes in faster than ore.
22) Resource collection is not in line with the sleep cycle when you select it. While sleeping the equipment being used to pull resources should continue to collect them and expend the fuel used to power them.
23) You should not freeze to death in a cave. In almost every instance a cave is temperate, maintaining a constant temperature (unless you happen to be at one of the arctic poles).
24) Tools are repairable. Why not the weapons?
25) The backpack needs more than 4 slots.
26) Some items need to be able to be snapped into position like other building structures (i.e., shelters, storage boxes and planter boxes.)
27) Canned goods should be non-perishable and a cabinet/shelf would be nice to store them.
28) Fish baskets or a better fishing mechanic other than using a spear. Bow fishing? Maybe an old fashioned fishing pole?
29) It would be nice to have the materials stackable in the mixer versus standing there doing one load at a time.
30) A tool that would allow for path clearing without the vegetation growing back would be great

The infected is a kind of mix between Green Hell and The forest to my point of view. I played around 6 hours.

This game has a really good potential, but is in early stage development. However, it is yet clearly playable, and has already a reasonable number of items to be crafted.

I must say it is not really an easy game :

- As in Green Hell, you have different types of food to deal with: thirst, proteins, carbohydrates, fats and vitamins. If you are missing any type of nutrient or are dehydrated, your life gradually decreases, and you eventually die. So you have to manage your food.

- When you die, you respawn next to your bed with all of your ressources, but your maximum HP decrease. You begin the game with 100/100 HP, if you die 5 times, you respawn with 75/75 HP (5 HP per death). Maybe in later game some items permit you to recover your maximum amount of HP, but I didn't go so far in the game.

- Around day 5 infected start to harass you, so like in The Forest you need to build a good base.

Building structures is like in The Forest or Green Hell : you place the blueprint and then bring ressources into it.

Backpack and crafting items is like in Green Hell, maybe less optimize for now, but is okay.

You have to visit infected camps to discover new technologies (like fridge or solar panels), but I didn't go so far in the game.

Graphicaly it is okay, I would say good, but it is sometimes difficult to see where are animals / interesting plants as the vegetation is a bit redondant and dense.


To conclude I think it worth to invest 12$ if you like games like Green Hell or The Forest, and to support this game. But remember it is in early stage development so everything is not optimized (And I must say like in Green Hell or The Forest).
