Do vambies open door gates?

I thought I was safe on a footbridge between two parts of my house with my bow to receive the hordes. I was surprised to find that they could open all the doors of my house and come at me from all sides.

I am building a fence with a door gate. Will they open this door too?

Also, could they kill Mike?

Vambies cannot open gates but they can open doors. They will not target Mike and he takes no damage from anything. Mike is invincible and perhaps the actual hero in this game, haha

I'm still not happy with Mike, he still will only do one thing and that is the garden anything else, nope, I have tried to put him with one thing like getting rocks and no he just runs around, I have tired to put him with the garden and collect rocks or logs and he just runs around. I guess Mike doesn't like me, lol.

As long as MIke is fed, most issues with Mike these days are due to issues with AI pathfinding. Be sure that he has a clear path to his task destination. Also try to turn off all other tasks besides the one you are having trouble with and save/reload.

You guys seriously need to add locks for doors or bars for doors.
