Oil shale
Dev, please add the option to obtain Lead Ore, Coal, and most importantly OIL SHALE in Mineral Extractor. I don't have a single rock on the oil shale map anymore... and the rocks should also be regenerating because Mike is running for them 300m from the base.
The game is great!!!!!

Oil shale and sandstone or just stones can be extracted from the desert biome using the mineral extractor. Lead ore and coal can only be mined in the caves, and iron ore, iron frags and/or stone can be extracted from the normal ground. All the mines produce copper, cobalt and aluminium with mineral extractors. Running out of oil shale/stone boulders is part of the game, and when they are gone, they are gone. That's why you need to get those extractors set up...

I was told in the discord that mineral extractors, placed in the desert, have a chance to also yield oil shale, amongst stone i think. Haven't tried it yet, maybe worth to check out?

Lead and coal i'd see as a non-issue. They respawn so fast, you could run circles in a cave for hours and leave with whatever amount you're comfy with.

Problem is, you spend all this resource to put a mineral extractor in the desert. Then you get 1 shale to 20 stones, waste of time. I don't want stone. the lacky Mike does that.

here is a tip for ya take the oil shale and make it 1 for each spot in the chest then you won't get those pesky rocks just the oil shale. I know it takes a bit to get the oil shale to begin with but it works just takes time.

Thanks, that's a good idea.

Do the same for sandstone, split up the oil shale and sandstone to fill all the slots after removing the rock.
