Zombies/Vambies/Whatever can open doors ???

So i built a steel door and the bloody AI just open it lol and killed me - what's the point of the steel door or any door in fact if they can just open it ? (or am i missing something like 'lock' ?)

Yes, the former humans remember how to open doors. I also think that we should be able to lock doors and gates. Not only to keep vambies from opening them but also Mike.

Won't this mean people move walls all the time instead of build doors? I mean I get the logic, since they open doors in towns.

Not that it wasn't funny in old builds to hide inside buildings in towns.
