Mushrooms?

Is it just me, or did the dev decrease the mushrooms found in caves?
I started a new save because my old base was quite a way to the next cave. Now I've built right next to the cave in the middle of the map and check regularly for 'shrooms and (obviously) my mineral extractor, It seems that said 'shrooms are less in that cave than before. Back then, when I got there, it was loaded, now it is only like five or so batches of 'shrooms, even if I look for them only every 7 or so in-game days. Is that just my perception? Or did that change?

seems like that to me too also accompanied by more scorpions ,got chased out by 2 the other day when my spear broke :]

I've found if you muck around in the cave for a few minutes they start spawning in. I usually slow walk around the centre rock clockwise and they keep spawning back on each rotation or so. Rocks for lead/iron as well.

IME, I have found them to be just as plentiful as before. My main cave is very small. They reload pretty often but after a delay of entering the cave.

Heh! I think I just got a bunch of more grey hair!
Today, I logged in, went to the cave and there were plenty of Mushrooms!!! I got about 30 'shrooms in one run! I swear, that didn't happen before I opened this thread!
It is almost like the game is reading my mind and wants to F*** with it! LOL!
