Cart auto changes the direction.

Has anyone else noticed this.
I use the cart to loot some villages and when I press E to drop the cart facing towards the village house on the road, map also concurs , I go get the stuff then E to pickup the Cart but now I am facing the opposite direction. Map confirms.

Took me a while to figure what was going on wrong with my direction.
Checking the map it definately shows the cart facing oneway when I stop then the opposite way when picking it again.
Becareful noting which way you head after picking it up as I didnt notice until I had run quite a long way the wrong way. Thanks for looking.

I always E pick up cart with 2 crates from the rear.

Hi. The cart is designed to go the direction you are facing so, if you approach the front of the cart and are looking at it, facing towards its back end, it will go behind you and you will continue in the direction you approached the cart. The AI is the direction, not the cart.

If you want to proceed in the direction the cart is facing, you need to approach its rear end, then press 'E'. You will then still be facing the direction the cart was pointing.

Thanks guys, I've been away from the game for a year or so. Will test this by going to the rear of the cart.
I was using the pickup from the front of the cart facing the Cart as it was the only way to pick it up. When I did this the Cart was not infront me it was still behind me I just saw the 2 arms of the cart so thats why I didnt notice any change in direction only when looking at the Map.
It rotated the cart into the opposite direction it was facing.
I have 2 chests on top as well. Thats why I started using it till I get the Truck fixed the ATV chest is too small. cheers
