Ceiling lights
Ok so having finally gotten to a point to were I am just building, adding and changing things. The one thing that stands out and makes me want to do a total restart is lights. At first I started with fire pots decent but in the way. then went to oil lamps ( yeah no), then ceiling lights. Bright but need a lot of them to really light a room proper. So I did just that. Then when finished went to 2nd floor to eat and drink and saw it.......The glow. God awful looking glare glow from lights coming through the wood ceiling. So I thought make concrete ceiling. That made things worse. Never really noticed all this time on how the glow flows through everything. Wood? ok I can see this happening, but concrete and brick you should not be able to see the light through it. I wanted to make 2 rooms downstairs all ceiling lights because it's the work rooms. The rest were gonna be fire pots. But the glow from the 2 ruins the look. So Now I just want to restart and build separate buildings making a village of sorts LOL. Any suggestions on fixing this?

I agree. I have seen this in other games using the UR engine (All lights). I wonder if it can be remedied.

I haven't played in a few months but Ark has the same problem. Doesn't matter what material the light bleeds through
