i cant get this game to work with any controller on either windows 10 or 7. im on win 10 now and using the xbone controller and i cant get the keys to bind to the controller at all, when i double click to bind it always defaults to (RX-AXIS - or +) and nothing else. if anyone has experience with this game and the xbox one controller please help!

How do you get the game to work with steam controller? My steam controller just stop working when the game launch. Even the steam overlay did not work as well.

Yes you can play the game with an Xbox One controller though you need to install the drivers for it if you have Windows 8. The controller works automatically if you have Windows 10. Shouldn't be any problems. I myself play every Prince of Persia game with an Xbox One controller so yeah...

is Xbos controller the only controller that work with prince cuz i got a window 10 and i have a ps3 controller and i can't seem to get to work

Maybe someone else knows the answer here, I got my Xbone controller to work and mapped out all the keys, but I'm running into two issues:

1.) I cannot use my mouse while the controller is active which is required for navagating the menus.

2.) The game deleted all of my button mapping when I quit (despite having said it was saved).

If anyone has a fix for these things it'd be great to know. Otherwise it looks like I'm doing this in a single, marginally annoying playthrough.

PCGamingWiki[pcgamingwiki.com] has a fix for the xbox 360\Xbox One\any other X-Input Controller problem

it doesn't let you control the menu's but at the very least you can play the game properly with a controller

(i did scan the fix with Avira Anti-Virus and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and there were no threats found)

EDIT: with "it doesn't let you control the menu's" i meant you cannot control the menu's with the controller but you can control it with mouse and keyboard

either use the thing that is posted in the pcgamingwiki link i posted before or use steam controller configuration utility to alter the deadzone settings for the game
