just beat this for the second time.... wow that ending.
whe i got this game in 2003-04 i never beat it. i beat it like 2 years ago but the poor combat and dying a lot made me not enjoy it as much. i just beat it again since, and be cause i had experience my second playthrough went a lot better.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the other two games lack the arabian nights charm that this one has... i love how at the ending he kisses farah and then shes like "oh u ♥♥♥♥" and he rewinds timw. hahahahahaha omfg yes!!! thats exactly what a guy would do in his situation. and then at the end he says that name that only she would know so she believes him!!

its sooooooooo well done.

i just noticed something too... but why doesnt farah recognize him in TT???? she clearly wouldve remembered him given how impressionable he was at end of sot..... did the creators just forget??? i think the prince mentions she doesnt remember him... but why not??? seems like a very significant thing to happen to her(ending in sot)

Farah didn't recognize prince because (MAJOR SPOILERS, COMPELTE SANDS OF TIME, WARRIOR WITHIN and THE TWO THRONES FIRST) once he took Kaileena from the past (Kaileenas original timeline) to the future (Prince's original timeline) and killed Dahaka - the sands were never made. Maharaja never found sands in the island and Persians never took over India, thus the Prince never met Farah. Basically, Sands of Time never happened. This was actually explained in the beginning of TT once you meet vizier for the first time.

It makes sense all that stuff you said. But if events followed similarly to beginning of sands of time even pre sands of time. By that I mean maharaja finding the hourglass and dagger. Then surely the invasion of India by Persians would happen. Also if this is a new timeline is there two princess running around?

No, the reason India was taken was because of the vizier. He knew maharaja had the hourglass and he wanted it to become immortal. Thus he betrayed maharaja and allowed prince with his father to take over, he basically persuaded the prince's father to attack india in sands of time. Since there was no hourglass the vizier never betrayed maharaja, so the attack never happened. Instead he relied on some barbaric tribes or w/e and using them he took over india himself, killing maharaja and gaining the dagger, then traveling to the island to find that the solution to immortality is Kaileena.
I'm not exactly sure how he knew that kaileena would be coming to Babylon but my guess is that he found some clues in the island of time, after all prince left a pretty big mark there. Maybe he used the time portals in the island and saw the events himself?

As for two princes - that's a good question, since the prince never had reasons to run from dahaka (after he erased the sands, basically) he should have stayed in babylon with his father. Don't remember this explained ever, but the first visit with the vizier in TT tells us that prince WAS away and everyone knew that. What were the exact reasons at this time is a good question. But if we take the events from WW it is explained that a person can't exist in the same timeline twice - that's why he had to use the mask, to become a different "person".

Okay well vizier mentions he found an hourglass but it was empty. So dunno what u mean by that. Second if a person can't exist at same time at once then maybe prince became himself and took over TT princes body? It's hard to explain lol. Kinda good doe.
