in game cutscenes have bad syncing
During in game cutscenes, not prerendered, but ones using in game graphics, the video is going at a faster rate than the audio, which is obviously annoying. For example, the prince might jump, then say "i'm going to jump" then Farrah might say "no don't do it" but by this point the prince has already landed.

does anyone have any fixes?

Lock the game at 30 or 75 or 100 fps. The entire series was not optimized for today's most popular 60 Hz, as 60 Hz was unbearable back in the days of CRTs, so it was ignored and not tested. Also don't let the game go anything higher than 100 fps, it's gonna mess physics up badly.

How do you lock the FPS? I've been looking all over but can't find anything to lock it so I can enjoy the cutscenes.

You can always use 3rd party utilities like rivatuner statistics server (don't let the stupid name fool you). Also if you have AMD, you should have a frame limit option right in your game profiles. And if you have nvidia, you have the half-vsync option for 30 fps. For something higher, you do need a 3rd party tool.

Thank you, I do appreciate it. The game was nearly unplayable, but I will definitely look into some of these.
