I wasn't impressed by the Cleric of the Hammer, but I think there must be something to it, how did you manage to tank the damage of the final fight ? I don't see anything defensively strong in your comp to eat the 10 damage and 5 damage + affliction. Were your summoned hammers able to eat the damage from the boss' adds before dying ?
There is a lot that should have been done better but wouldn't have affected the score, which kinda makes me question the score system, since objectives and gold are all that changes the outcome.
I played with the Hammer summoner, and I noticed they have a Follow-up: take 1 damage (so in essence they just die after attacking). So I figure if you are able to tank the damage, it would mean the order is the hammer attacks, then the add does its on-death damage first, then the hammer does the follow-up suicide. Nice to know a little better the order of things ^^
The hammer dies immediately. It does not tank; though with a Divine Protector it should live to do so.
Ok, I don't particulary like that guythen, although your best buddy Gryx seems kinda fond of him :p
It worked in my NG+++++ run to unlock Legend, but I missed the tanking. Was not sure I would be able to do so. Worked well with Ven, the Eldest, due to his high speed.

Sadly, I have yet to see Thane at a campfire. It has some cool potential (and not just with dwarves). I really want to make a Wrath Conduit build with a Thane.
Yeah the Wrath could be fitted with Doomed Amulet or Poison Shield (multiclass), and be a pain in the ass to heal but dishes out tremedous amount of damage per turn (heal it with a brewmaster perhaps who also has a venin shield ?).
Or he could just go the Power Cheese route, and be placed frontline as to never attack :p (just counter at least once per turn thanks to the Thane :p). A squire could benefit him aswell :p (or an arcane archer).
Aviakoran would be a nice addition, in either case.
Wrath Conduit (the more healing you have, the more Doom amulets you can equip :p) - Battle Thane - Brewmaster - Aviakoran Guard ?
The sanguinist, if multiclassed, could summon 2 or 3 birds thanks to the archer summon item (safely only 2, because you'd probably want a speed ring). Without multiclass, a Praexator would do the trick as it's inexhaustible.
I also wonder what Thoric alone could pull off with two dwarven belts.... ^^
I did save scum. I had a very strong comp but it's very much based on luck especially in 600 hp fights - hope build with the chef.
Had bad luck with attack items after I managed to build my sustain. Also couldn't find or afford even one potion belt.
I even had to kill that gold worm because there was no way I could reach the dps on one of the act 3 fights.
So in the end I found it more feasible to crack the savegame file. Never done such a thing for a game before and it's in binary. I copied 3 power rings each on my battle mage and on the archer.
Still it was insanely hard to beat especially Abaddon with the keeper gibbing my backline. Wow, this difficulty REALLY is something else.
Not sure if ever doing it again.
Also never before seen a difficulty-based achievement on Steam with 0.1% players unlocked. Good job, devs, crazy stuff.
Wow nice. I also find doom builds lacking but they're really fun to play.

I think the moral here is that you get ahead in life by being greedy and miserly, throwing your money at problems and getting others to take your knocks for you.
