How do I get the visualizer to display in a window. Ctrl+F seems to just toggle the taskbar visibility.

I'm at a loss. Can't find the answer. Every single button works, EXCEPT (N)NEXT (P)PREVIOUS AND (R)RANDOM. This is Ubuntu 20.04LTS and I have this installed on 2 systems with identical software. I can't change presets and it's driving me NUTS!!

ProjectM is also available from the Microsoft Apps store; that version runs in a window but, ironically, doesn't work properly in fullscreen - at least in my 3840 x2160 display.

There was a function to make a COMPLETELY random preset in MD2, I wouid love that again. Also to control the speed of the visualizer and a faster way to set beat sensitivity (like hold CTRL for changing twice as fast):steamhappy:. The first one may take time but the second should be easy shouldn't it?

Is there a search function? I swear I hit something that let me search through the presets

EDIT: Found it! Alt + Enter brings up Search function :)

So odd I never this anywhere: ALT+ENTER brings up the full list of presets and also has a search bar, great for if you have downloaded other preset packs and you preset folder is now enormous

Found it trying to use ALT+ ENTER to make the application go from full-screen to windowed.

Is it just me or does ctrl S not stretch the imaage across multiple monitors anymore? I woke up today and the option is gone. Just change monitor. :(

Screen stretch is not implemented in the current version of the program due to it not working properly (as of 2/27/23) but a pre-compiled version that still has it implemented can be found here: https://github.com/kblaschke/projectm/releases

Note that this is an older release of projectM (v3.1.13 from 11/12/21) and probably shouldn't be used unless you absolutely NEED screen stretch.
I spoke to the devs and they mentioned that screen stretch will be re-implemented when it is fixed, but there is no ETA on that currently.

Thank you, screen stretch is a dealbreaker for me

what about the left click to drop a waveform? also not working for me

also, let me say, that's not a complaint. i love this thing. but dropping waveforms (and I imagine that holding left is wild) would be awesome
