The uniforms customizer is awesome indeed, but I don't want to be able to place 20 different "72nd NY" banners on my canteen or knapsack, or placing my hat in 10 different spots...
I would like to have the option to play with and customize the tons of different uniform styles the civil war had to offer. Zouaves, Sack Coats, Frock Coats, Shell Jackets, Hardee Hats and such ;)
And if you compare with War of Rights, they feature a decent amount of uniform styles (over 120+ regiments?).
Yes, you will say that more uniforms and regiments will be added later in bcof, so will other stuff you mentioned above be added in War of Rights.

People will be able to host their own servers. You wont have to go to a single company. You could even run it on your own computer if you wished.
