How to play Stranger of Paradise on Steam Deck

STRANGER OF PARADISE: FINAL FANTASY is now available on Steam, but it's not Steam Deck compatible by default. I've written a guide at Co-Optimus to help players run the game with GE Proton. This is my first time using an experimental branch of Proton and launch commands, so please let me know if any corrections or improvements are needed.

I’ve gotten to the step where I installed the GE Proton version but it doesn’t show in my compatibility as an option. Only shows all the regular proton options.

Hey. Thanks so much for this guide.
I've owned the game on Epic since launch and gave up trying to play it on Deck.

I'm going to see if this guide will work with the epic version.

if you search for proton in discover it is the first one that pops up for me.

Not great, but playable. Like 20 FPS.
