game minimizing

so i will just be sitting there watching a cutscene and out of no where the game will go back down to the taskbar. if i am playing the game it is fine. no minimizing or anything. as long as i am putting input into the game its fine. why is it doing this?

screensaver is shut off. i normally run my pc without it

This also happened to me in the Epic version. It was introduced with any of the new updates after the Steam release. Not a huge problem since it's very rare, but still annoying.

ive been having the same issue, wonder if theres any way to fix it. does square or team ninja have any bug support that this can be sent towards?

I made a post on the stranger of paradise reddit and someone suggested using borderless instead of fullscreen. Seems like that fixed it for me, was able to watch an entire cutscene without the game minimizing to taskbar.
