Report a translation problem
The problem with rifts is that joining another player's rift will set your rift to whatever they are doing. So if I'm at floor 20 and you're at floor 1, I will be thrown back to floor 1.
I don't think the developers' intentionally wanted to screw players but it's how the game turned out right now.
Happy to run gilga non-rift missions with you if we meet online though.
When you select your rift after co-op, you can choose to do either your solo rift progress, or the multi-player rift progress.
Wow that is most reassuring, I didn't dare to join any rifts of my friends because I had this wrong impression.
