Health Potions

Just started playing the other day, and I quickly found that I have depleted my health potions. And was wondering if they can be found in the early stages in the crates or from fights? Since my characters are only lvl 4-5 respectfully..

You receive up to 5 potions when you touch a save point / the sphere of cubes.

You might find additional ones by defeating enemies and sometimes a boss phase. If you have more than 5 potions when you touch the cubes, you get to keep them.

Your options to heal in the first mission are a bit more limited unless you went out of your way to unlock advanced jobs.

Level up your mage job a bit, it will lead to both white mage and red mage advanced class options, both of which have inherent heal and regen spells. Later on there are loads of life leech abilities as well, but for straight early game healing that works well.
