DLC1, Jack makes a deal with Bahamut, so the latter helps train Warriors of Light to eventually be worlds own, native defenders and they go couple of cycles, Bahamut delivers on his promise
DLC2 Lufenians use rifts to unleash various enemies at Jack to get rid ofhim, Gilgamesh ends up helping out
DLC3 we're taking fight back to Lufenia, specifically one very mad with some help, Lufenian makes a last stand, fate forks for Jack creating 2 versions of him, Dissidia events are established as canon for SoP, a bit more nuanced and detailed plot here, but Emperor makes an appearance and tries to steal powerful gizmo, is clapped and disarmed by Jack who throws him back into rift into his own world as regular person without power

In my interpretation it's more complex than that. There are two Garlands. One that appears in Dissidia and is the classic Garland that did not fulfill his destiny. So he got locked in an endless cycle of battle.

DLC 3, aptly called different future, and what I believe to be the canon ending, Garland fuses with the crystal power of Nil the lufenian, the power that runs that world, and becomes a God called the chaos of discord. This in turn allows, due to so much darkness being created, for the true warrior of light to appear who is also a god, the god of harmony. This warrior of light finally overpowers and kills Jack Garland, resulting in FF1 world to be cleansed of darkness and be saved.

As both god of discord and god of harmony, Jack Garland and Warrior of light then accompany the Moogle (who is hinted to be a God of sorts i believe) in the unreleased NEW DISSIDIA. I haven't played Opera Omnia but I think that's essentially what happens after SOP.

One final thing... In all DLCs other endings, the warrior of light is never strong enough to kill jack garland and always gets killed, resetting the cycle.

Finally there is one other non canon ending in the DLC 3, where garland chooses NOT to take the crystal after killing omega and nil. This is hinted to result in the warrior of light (who isn't god of harmony as garland isn't chaos of discord here) killing Jack but Jack as a normal human is just killed and disappears from memories, even as the cycle is broken.

Finally in the canon ending I just mentioned an important event happens. The emperor from ff2 tries to take the crystal and fuse with it. However garland beats the s out of him and fuses with the crystal instead. Now having the power of god of discord, he opens a dimensional rift back to ff2 dimension and throws the emperor back in. This is interesting because the emperor has been cleansed of his magic by jack and is now powerless. This basically could mean that jack garland single handedly prevented ff2 from happening and saved that world. But I may be mistaken on this.
