Action RPG ? open-World ?

I would like to know if it's a Open-world and a Action RPG gameplay ?

It's definitely not open world, but it is an action-RPG.

I'm not far in, but I'm already bored with the very samey level designs and fight structure (mash trigger until circle prompt comes up, crush enemy and repeat).

The number of classes and customization seems top-tier though.

It's not open world, it's more like instanced area's / missions. Gameplay is a bit like Nioh or Monster Hunter in the sense that your weapon determines your moveset, though there are some unique elements to it as no stamina bar but an MP and stance break bar.
