End game ? replayability?
How's the end game like? Is there replayability or finish the story one time and done?

There's tons of replayability value, but in a way, you're only required to finish a mission twice to unlock everything (main story and end game). Post game content is locked only by dlc progress. Then there's the Rift, which in itself can take quite a time. I personally spent about 50 hours in the rift.

What's the rift? Is it like the abyss in Nioh?

Rift is the final endgame grind in the game and its endless. Random missions (kill enemies, boss, multiple bosses, find a portal etc.) and sometimes floors can have Bahamut Trials on them that makes them even harder, but reward with bahamut coins that can be spent in shop. You can also train monsters in there (5 at a time) that gives you permanent stat boosts during the rift making your character progression potentially endless too. Also the last few level cap increases are unlocked from high level rifts

Yes, and they added some rogue lite mechanics to it to make it more interesting.

Is rift locked behind DLC?

Yes, rift is DLC, so you need the season pass. It's pretty worth it if you like the game at all. Note that there is a pretty steep difficulty curve if you wanna do the post-story stuff though.

If you die ~3 times in a row per rift level (or if you lose all your rift level points) you can lose rift progression. You don't lose everything. You only lose some rift related progression like monster level and the rift currencies you didn't use. Still, dying 3 times in a row won't happen unless you like taking risks. Also, rift progression isn't really needed to progress through the rift. It helps, but it's not mandatory.

Does this game have any cheese compared to Nioh though? Asking for a friend.

Yeah, it's unlocked in DLC2. DLC1 is short though.

Boy, oh boy. You can turn into a killing machine with pretty much any build.

If you'd like some tips:
- For NG and beyond: Stats are better than anything in your gear. If you're making an int based build. Put INT and SPR in your equipment. Otherwise STR and AGI. In any case, INT/STR should always go in your equipment depending on what build you're making.
- These Commands for boss fight: Lunatic, Summon Tachi (And Invisible if you're struggling.)
- For DLC1+: 2nd best offensive gear effects IMO are effects that get activated Near Death (When your character is about to die). If you get enough affinity for one of the classes (I think it was 400% Death Knight), you can activate these effects all the time. I think it's possible to make a build like this in NG as well.
- For DCL2+: You should focus on getting perfect affinity gear (190% affinity equipment so it can be upgraded to 250%) and also learn how the blessing system works either by experimenting in the game or by watching a guide. Blessings are extremely important. Also if you're playing with NPC companions, I recommend giving them 400% Liberator so they share a fraction of their stats to you (I think they share 25% of their stats this way), also make them tanky so they don't die all the time.

Sounds good! Taking note of these.
