Unplayable on Steam Deck

What the title says.

The game doesn't even start on Steam Deck, as expecte from a Koei Tecmo/Team Ninja game.

I don't know what I'm surprised, since Dissidia NT still has its compatibility issues after all this time.

People were running it on Steam Deck even when it was EGS exclusive and the game worked pretty ok.

As has been said in a few other threads:

Set

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64=b" %command%

As a launch option, and run it on GE Proton (I'm personally using 47). Doing this, the game launches, and I've been playing it just fine.

Decent. Solid 30fps and responsive controls. Not that far into the game yet, though.

yep can confirm it works, im using GE 7-53 and all cutscenes are working fine. runs stable @ 30 so far on low/mid with fps priority on.

Heres hoping there will be fixes to make this run better out the box

Runs nice and toasty with perhaps 1.25 hours of gameplay at 100% battery. Didn't tweak much more than fsr and capping frames. Maybe you could get 1.75 hours if you really sacrificed.

That said... Jesus, the performance is bad even on the lowest settings at 30 FPS...

Yeah, performance isn't great, but it runs and I can play it in bed. I'll take it.

They are not-official Proton versions, based on the official open-source releases.

They can only be downloaded with the ProtonQT app through the Discover store app on SteamOS/Steam Deck's desktop mode.

IDK I ignored the proton version and just ran the first experimental branch. Works fine provided you dump in the command line people mentioned.
