Do you think epic saves can be carried over,
I did beat the game and gear up to 300. But never bought the dlc packages.

Do you think we can load up our epic save file somehow?

Why oh why would you EVER pick Epic over Steam? (unless a game is cheaper) But Steam in general is so much better.

Most of the time saves are the same. It did work with FFVIIr, I know that.

Nope. The saves shouldn't work on Steam because they are tied to the Epic ID. Someone would need to make a save editor/mod to make saves cross-compatible between IDs.

The game was cheaper and still is. 39 even reduced price from 59. I got it for 34 55 days after launch. That's praticky 50% discount.

Games 32 on gmg

I just tried. Nope, Epic game save can't be used on steam version directly. We'll need things like SaveEditor or SaveConverter.

Thanks, quite a shame.

I know NEOTWEWY saves were also compatible between Epic/Steam. Im guessing maybe the DLC / pre-order stuff messes up it here.

Nope. Saves are just tied to the Epic/Steam ID.
👇That's not how it works when saves are tied to an account. You need a save editor/converter to be able to transfer save files. This game will not allow you to use a save file from another account. People have already tried, please Eisberg.👇

Nah, I tried it. It gave me a message saying my saves were "corrupted" after putting them where the Steam save files were so rip.

Very nice Father Garcia! And thank you for the guide!

(I think from where I'm at, I'll keep going on the new save - but it is a very nice option to have for EGS folks migrating and being able to play with the Steam pool as they catch up and/or need assistance.)

I picked it because it came out on Epic a full year before it was available on Steam.

Its a game store. It sells games.Steam sells games. No difference. I have purchased many games from EPic. Played them long before Steam users and there was absolutely zero difference to the purchase. You people hurt yourself by limiting your options.A store is a store. Most people are not dumb enough to think its an advantage to limit your buying options to 1 store and 1 store only. I buy form Steam and Epic and UPlay and Origin and GOG and whomever I want to.
