What is dep?

Not understanding what dep is or what it is used for. Can anyone enlighten me?

The more dep you get, I believe the more hostile and easily angered you are. It also effects how other characters view you and you can respond to game/conversation choices with more hostility or perhaps even with violence.

Me, personally, in all my runs, I've never had more than 1 or 2 through the whole 1st Book. I like to keep mine low, because of a certain love interest. Other girls might want a more aggressive temper (like Chandra, Ellen, Victoria, etc.)

it's a score for yourself.

But the different girls will take your hostility/anger differently.

Just don't get mad at Katie. She's probably the most innocent and kindest character in the game. I don't know what happens if you get hostile towards her, but being that she's one of the most helpful and useful people in the game, always be nice to her.

Chandra, Ellen, Shanlon, Victoria and women like that might like aggression or that kind of temper. I've never got such a high dep, so I don't know what would happen.

And getting mad at Gloria or Henry would most likely mean your demise or at least would cause some serious conflict. It's probably safer to be nicer in this game, but you can be a total ass to everyone and see what happens.

Dep = depravity, It is for stats for personal immersion for now. If you want more depraved protagonist, you can tweak him with dep. It influence some dialogues and it have impact on scene with Shanlon.
Mark Takagi, I don’t think, that MC is able any hostility to Katie.
MC with high depravity still isn’t guy, who would harm unicorn.
Chandra, Ellen, and Victoria have other character trait, which the want that MC have. They are indifferent to dep. so far.

Depraved is basically the opposite of being a "good" person. Doing the less vanilla, more freaky sex stuff, being overly rude, violent. There are points in the game where you can only unlock content (dialog, scenes, and if I remember correctly some positions within a couple scenes) by having high or low depravity. Basically each of the girls has a score how much they like you as a person and how much they like you in a sexy way, and depravity is a score for how freaky of a person you are acting.

Ya, so far the biggest influence I've seen is on Shanlon - she likes it when you treat her like a piece of crap, it's her kink. So I usually generate just enough depravity through certain dialogues with people like Meredith who deserve to be yelled at so that I meet the minimum requirements to unlock everything with Shanlon. :)

Is there anyway to see your dep score?

How do you see what your dep is? Is there a way to see all your stats like in other games? I can see the main characters, but, for instance, I have no idea what my score is with Henry. I play scenes where the guide says, do this for a +1 score with Henry. But I don't know what the total score is with him or any of the characters not in my contacts in the info tab. At the moment I have Katie, Ellen, Victoria, Chandra, Gloria in my contacts. How do I see the rest?
