Which Version of Double Agent is this?

There were two different versions of this game. One was on the XBox, and basically played like Chaos Theory, using the same engine. It was a good stealth game and exactly what I wanted, and what the series has repeatedly been uninterested in giving me through the last three games. Review here:

The XBOX 360 version was some kind of stealth-action hybrid with better graphics but different levels and engine, but had dumbed the stealth gameplay down into nothing with a vauge stoplight design on Sam's back supposedly telling you if you were hidden on not.

The screenshots on this steam buy page are from the Xbox Version. The screenshots people have taken are from the poxy, inferior 360 version. I'm wary of buying it.

Did they ever release the xbox version on the pc?

Thanks! Yeah, the XBox is the daylight ice stage, so the pc must be the lesser version. The pictures on the store page must just be an accident. Damn. The resolution on the Xbox version is frustrating, since it's obviously the Chaos Theory engine.

This is the version released on current gen consoles. Double Agent was one of thoese games made during the merge of console generaions. Ubisoft made a version for older consoles (used to have it) and theres the current gen one, which is what the PC uses.

The xbox/ps2 versions are better than the ps3/xbox 360 versions (The old gen versions play out similarly to Chaos theory,you'll love the co-op.). The PC version is the worst due to poor optimization,crashing,glitches,bad graphics even on good hardware,and lack of widescreen support. There are unpredictable crashes occuring in certain missions in the pc version. Kinshasa is the the worst.

Double Agent co-op>Chaos Theory>Double Agent singleplayer(old gen)>Double Agent (360/ps3)>Double Agent (PC)

Don't buy a game that doesn't work as it should. Worst $40 I've ever spent.
