This game is a broken mess!

Seriously, I can't hear gunfire, so I don't know where I'm taking damage from, sound sometimes cuts out entirely for no reason, I swear, there are NO shadows in this game, I can never SEE shadows, and the opsat always says I'm in the light, seriously what the heck is wrong with this game! And why do they use the same sound effect for everything? when you grab someone, when you take someone out, when you're detected, whe you even get an on screen option! I don't know if it's just my game being bugged, but it plays the same sound for EVERYTHING! I don't know if I'm being detected, or if I'm being given the option to pick something up! I'm only on the tanker mission, but all the sounds are slowly stopping, takedowns, gunfire, the opsat, footsteps... I feel like its about to crash at any second...

The Steam version of this game is not patched. Make sure you patch to the latest version. This can be done via multiplayer, where after logging in it will auto-update. If it doesn't, you can manually install patch 1.02a.

finally, because I'm playing through the series for the first time, and I just thought this one was just really bad for no reason, like splinter cell, good, pandora tomorrow, great, Chaos Theory, Absoloutly Phenomenal, Double Agent, Tom Clancey's poop. good to know I can fix it.
