I just wanna iron out any issues I currently have...

[Night Ninja: The Fear of All]

Hello fellow Splinter Cell fans!

I've been a huge fan since the PS2, as the original game was my first non-kid-friendly game, and since then... Splinter Cell had left a MAJOR impact on me. I love the original, despite the repetitive learning from mistakes, same with Pandora Tomorrow(sadly never got to try out multiplayer...), Chaos Theory is EASILY one of my favorite games of all time, I also loved Double Agent on PS2 a lot, as well as having not minded so much the jank-ness to Essentials on PSP(since it still played well enough). I was then frustrated for having only owned a PS3 growing up, when Conviction was suddenly a random Xbox 360 exclusive on me, having only finally played it with an ok laptop in my high school year of about 2014-2015... Before then, only played Blacklist for a short time(didn't exactly LIKE it) from renting it, and Conviction was my first NEW Splinter Cell since then.

So, I didn't realize Double Agent had a different version from the PS2/OG Xbox/Wii/GameCube releases, thinking the PS3/Xbox 360/PC release would be the same but running better... Can't even blame me for thinking that initially, given the screenshots on the Steam storefront here. It wasn't until Critical Nobody on YouTube reviewed all the games and pointed out both versions of Double Agent... Because of this, I NEEDED to try it out finally, and I refused to invest in an Xbox 360/Xbox One to have the best version of this game... I don't even wanna pay that much for the PS3 release, despite owning the system already.

Because of this, I bought this version knowing I would have to work around some jank, after all... The PC release of Pandora Tomorrow runs on modern systems just fine now, so I imagined at least a decent amount of stuff here was becoming better and better as it went on. I have all the patches applied, upto the unofficial one as well, and I just want 2 major sore-thumb issues solved now. I appreciate any help that can be given, as I'm on Windows 11 and all my specs definitely are more than enough for the game.

--->I need the sound fixed!<--- This should be more than understandable... I'll deal with the other issue, if I can at LEAST get the sound working again, as I was with the cargo boat trapped in ice... The whole level had NO AUDIO, aside from a few random sounds working... I may have passed the level, but I couldn't even hear the dialog with Lambert during the mission sadly... Can someone PLEASE help me solve this issue at least? :(

--->I need the stuttering/low fps to stop??<--- I will deal with it if it can't be fixed, but for some reason... This is strange, the game is set at a VERY powerful setting, so it should be running smooth as butter with a modern Windows 11 gaming laptop. For some reason, however, it won't smooth out, just random stuttering or outright a low frame-rate... I don't understand why.

Now, I understand that this game on PC is infamous for being this glitchy, but I just wanted to play this game finally, especially as Ubisoft doesn't have anything aside from a possibly rip-off of a remake in the works... One I feel like will be another Assassin's Creed suddenly... I just wanna enjoy the Double Agent I never got to even BEGIN to experience, till now. If anything, if there are fans out there trying to fix it the rest of the way, then you have nothing but my prayers and respect for doing that, as I have nothing BUT appreciation to all PC users working out glitches that the devs didn't care to.
