Does it break anything? Stats affected in any way? Speedup anywhere? Was worried mechanics would be tied to fps in some way
El-Tigre 3 sierpnia 2021 o 20:36
Are there any issues like stuttering, random speedups, choppy rendering?

I did one chapter at 165 Hz and the only thing I've noticed was the damage numbers during combat were slightly sped up. I was thinking that the Expedition traps were going to be tied to framerate but it does not seem to be the case. If your video card can handle the higher FPS, then there's no downside to editing the .ini file. I prefer this code over the one in OP though since this would aim for your monitor's refresh rate rather and a specific FPS.

Not only did this work for me, it also fixed the graphical issues I was having in the intermissions on the Taranis? Hello!?

The flickering was driving me absolutely batty. This fix was a godsend!

Somehow i assumed this was going to break movement in the Taranis or Ruins
swolf75 30 sierpnia 2021 o 20:42
Gonna try this myself as I'd been starting to notice the flickering in places on menus and various effects, and it is ANNOYING.

Survey says? It does seem to run a bit smoother, the steam effects on the Taranis don't go wonky now, and the godawful flickering is more or less gone.

It would seem they have added official 60FPS support with update 1.03
