come on ... what are those randomly placing item locations ?

The locations of the "hardpoints" depends on when the design was saved. When saving a template you can include weapons and such to place the hardpoints on the design. Otherwise, they will appear on random locations. You can turn on Advanced Edit mode at the bottom to place components where you want to.
