Is it impossible to build Entertainment Districts as the Nyx/synthetic factions?
Playing this game for the first time in a year and slightly baffled that I seemingly cannot build this district in my current game. I'm struggling to locate it on any of the techs in the Navigator either, although oddly I still see a lot of techs with "Upgrade Entertainment" as a feature you get from researching those.

Is this a bug or working as intended?

UPDATE: Just discovered that this is ONLY an issue for me when playing Nyx. Tested it as Yor and the bug isn't there for them.

Hi sorry just wanted to add, another thing happening in my Nyx games, and ONLY there, is I am able to build custom ships with "survey modules" - like flag modules, but you're not limited to one and they cost more production.

Since I hadn't played GC4 in a while, I had just assumed the game had been redesigned to work this way. But now I've started bug-free games as other factions, I see you can only make a flag ship after all and this was just another bug.

Just thought it might be useful to let someone know, as it seems like my Nyx games exist in some weird alternate build of the game where all these issues exist together?

Working as designed. This is a feature of Nyx. They dont start with a survey ship but can build unlimited of them.
Nyx play differently than other races. They unlock Entertainment District in late game.

Their tree is designed around their abilities. Nyx have the efficient and iron born trait. Both have adaptable. So Nyx tech tree is a bit different than the Yor. Right now if you change their abilities its possible you might be missing something.

Looking at the def below. The Nyx version of the Approval district requires the Civ capital, colony capital, computational core or central hub. So you need the organization tech. It also requires the Tech_SupraCognition which is deep down the Sentience tech tree.
Sentience > Free Will > God of the Machine > Core Logic Matrix ... all the way to Supra Cognition before the capstone.

Yor has the regular approval district that doesn't have a prereq.

Ahhhhh. Ok, thank you Illauna. I just loaded into my Nyx game, looked at the Supra Cognition tech at the end of Sentience, and yes the Entertainment District is attached to that. And thank you for explaining Nyx's survey ships.

As for me not being able to see certain cultural technologies in the library - Glorious Legacy from Traditionalism, Dream of Utopia from Egalitarian, Consensus Maker from Pacifism, and Coordinated Travel from Totalitarianism - is this also a part of Nyx's design? Are they supposed to be unable to ever get those technologies, even if they put the final culture point at the end of those trees?
Your welcome. I'll peak a the capstone culture techs and see if they are in the tree.
