Cannot Build Ringworld

I have built ringworlds in the past, but idk if it is because I am playing the Iconians (doesn't say they cannot build ringworlds) or some other reason, but when I get enough gigamass, I have my architect start a ring world.

The 80 gigamass is deducted, my architect "moves" then before the turn is over, it brings me back to that ship and it is now "idle". I cannot go to the next turn until I give it a command - I cannot tell it to build as now I don't have enough gigamass.

The star is yellow. It is outside my controlled space (I've tried it on a red start in my space with the same result of lose the mass and nothing gets started).

Sorry to hear that! I wonder what would of happened if you had move the architect first right beside the star before issuing the build order.

That I can tell you. The same. I tried parking it one hex away, waiting a turn, then trying to build. I tried moving it right next to the star (that just seemed to trigger the build prompt) to wait, then build to the same effect of the game taking my 80 mass, then setting the architect to "idle" before the turn ended.

I've placed a save here. Disclosure, I enabled cheats to speed the process up. The last game I was over 10 hours in.

The game is saved with an architect a few hexes from a yellow star so you can test moving and building, as well as parking next to the star and then building.

Thanks. So glad to know it is an actual bug. I think this is my 4th game.

Beside that issue, how do you like your time with the game so far ?
