Also you need to go to next turn for many things to show just like extra speed to ships thru promotion or tech does not take effect till the next turn
Darn Devs whet and fixed the ship movement delay.
So ignore the advice I gave appears it may be outdated
Playing in a large galaxy for the first time, and I'm only seeing 3 of the 15 opponents.
Starting to see more capitals, as I expose my subspace pathways.
Suspecting that the Eyes of the Universe building only shows the capitals in the sectors that the player can reach with a probe. (Since I posted the question, 2 more sectors showed up, each with a civilization.
I will bring this up to the community team.
Much of the problem is the sectors can appear very far from the center of the map. Which I'll also report because it can be very difficult to see everything at a glance
Frustrating because I never had this issue with the medium size galaxy. Of note, one sector is almost pressed up against mine, while 2 others seem like they are on the other side of the galaxy.
In my case, enough I requested 15 opponents, only got 5, which Eyes of the Universe, showed.
The fix is to get one of Draver's mods. (Had tried 18 galaxy creations, asking for either 15 of 19 opponents in a large galaxy. Most of the time, only 8 or 9, as verified by the listplayers & fownc cheat commands.
But thanks for chiming in.
