Gigamass modable?
Did my first map with the DLC yesterday. And I couldn't make my own ringworld. I'd like to see a mod that makes gigamass a mining base type infinite resource like everything else. But is that even possible?

And some gripes. Why are there ruined ring world planets? Then there's an actual real ring world secretly there? But there's still a dead tile on the planet I colonized? no, no, no. Those should have been able to be repaired or something. But maybe that's as bad idea as what was implemented.

You can easily mod the amounts of gigamass that dead worlds and gas giant provide. So you could in theory increase the value to 1000 per world instead of 10 and 2. You can also increase the rate at which harvester harvest. So instead of 2.5 per turn you could put it at 10 per turn.

Note though that the scarcity can also be an interesting gameplay experience! for exemple, have you tried to use diplomacy to trade some gigamass with the other civs ? Or maybe it's time to declare war on your neighbors and go secure those gigamass deposits.

Good question: Why was a ruined ring world added? Not complaining just curious.

I was playing in easy on a medium size. I had a set ally. I used my huge tech advantage to trade for all the gigamass I could get.

Maybe the ruined ring world can't be repaired because it's in an awful, horrible location, and that's the reason why it's ruined.
