Map movement Bug, Forced scroll to right
I hasve noticed this twice now, the game starts scrolling the map to the right and I cant stop it. Open menus, try other keys, nothing. Only way to make it work normally is to restart the game.

Any ideas?

Do you have a game controller hooked up? I get that when I plug in my xbox controller.

There are a lot of mistakes with the map. Everything happened after the last update, a small patch was released today, no changes are visible. In order not to multiply the topics: 1. The mouse scrolling approach lives its own life- it works when it wants to; 2. now the ship cannot be sent anywhere, some parts of the map are inactive at all; 3. Some of the already open stars cannot be viewed, you can click on them with the mouse, but nothing happens; 4. it has already happened several times - creating a sector with your civilization, a sector of ten planets, and 2-3 more major civilizations. After deleting a custom civilization, it still remains in the list forever. The problems have been going on for several weeks, nothing has changed.

Many of these issues I haven't seen reported here.

Regarding deleting a custom civ you can delete it manually by going to %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Factions for now.

1. Occasionally comes up but it doesn't happen with everyone. May need to know how your able to replicate it.
2. Can you add more details.
3. Can you add more details.
4. Is this two different reports or one but can you add further details about this.

I'm not sure then try hitting different keys like shift, ctrl, etc... Also try starting the game with your hands off the mouse. It's a very uncommon issue so I dont have anymore thoughts on it right now. If your able to determine how you can replicate the issue I might be able to provide more details.

Thanks its only happened once more simce the initual post. I am not sure what triggered it, but the entire map moved in this case to the far left of the galaxy and locked in place there. Mouse movement, arrow keys, nothing caused a difference. Its like the focus point got magnetized in a crude description.

A reset of a save did resolve it without reloading the game though.

I can sometimes recover the scrolling movement if I can scroll (by rotating or directing it) back to my own explored territory. It seems to happen more when zoomed out. I have fog of war on the largest map which could trigger it, it's early in the game also.

No controller hooked up here either.

I just fixed it now by zooming in all the way on my map over my own explored territory, and moving right with my keyboard (the D key). If that helps diagnose it. It stopped the automatic right movement by me trying to move right myself.

*I have also corrected a left scroll by doing the same thing to the left with the A key.

**Further any key being pressed can do it, sometimes with another direction pressed too. I am trying to pay attention to what I do to recreate it, and I had just zoomed with the middle mouse scroll wheel while holding W+D when it happened. Then went to recreate it but had no luck.
