Hyperion Shrinker

so, what does the Hyperion shrinker do? I have unlocked the trait, but i cannot build it. im quite shure it hasnt been built by another civ, unless i only get a rumor notification for civs i hve encounterd...

You only get the rumor notification from the civ you encountered so it's possible another unmet civ already build it. Frogboy mentioned in discord last week that he wanted to change it to be a civilization achievement to prevent this kind of things from happening. We'll see what happens since it could also cause problem for balance considering you could end up with multiples shrinkers after conquering your enemies.

It increases the available space for modules on your ship designs.

If you hold shift on any popup, you can then freeze it in place to mouse over to it so you can then mouse over to the elements within it, then you get a 2nd popup telling you what that item is.

Speaking of the Hyperion Shrinker, would be nice if before picking the trait we were told if it was still available. Seems like it is a galactic wonder so if another civilization picked it you are out of luck and just lost a trait pick. Happened to me a couple games so i do not bother picking it anymore.

Yes theyre supposed to be changed to civilization achievements instead I read.
