If you enjoy the concept of having both slice of life/farming and combat, you might want to check out the rune factory franchise, I know the 4th was re-released on the switch and the 5th should be coming out this year.
It's not exactly the same of course, the combat is top-down and there are a lot more non-combat things but it's pretty good for the mix of both genres.

Brawlers with a touch of platformer on the other hand are a genre that is pretty full with quite a few good games, especially if you also include the metroid-vania.

I personally think if you like playing Sakuna then you'd most likely also like Muramasa: The Demon Blade. I got to play it on Wii back then but Sakuna is similar to the gameplay of Muramasa just without the rice farming simulation.

As other Posters said the 2D Part is like Atlus' Vanilla soft games. Muramasa and Odin's Sphere should be on Playstation readily availible for you.
For the Farming part there are far more Alternatives. The mentioned Rune factory just beeing one of many.

But if you are not that focused on the gameplay itself and more of the spirit of the game, the Atelier Series might be a good fit. You won t really farm(though in many title you can synthesise seed and grow them in pot's or very limited garden patches), but focus on crafting through alchemy which is a quite in depth-process in the game. That is also the main-gimmik to make your character stronger. Alchemists are quite weak on their own but will syntesis their own battlegear and Items(Bombs, Medicine, cakes, alchemic Killer satelites and the like).
Other than that most games in the series are very "slice of life" and character-event driven. The Main story is there but is not as world shattering as in "normal" JRPGs.
The Dungeons and Battlesystem are more traditional turn based JRPG style. Here you will farm for ingredients from Flaura an Fauna to use in you alchemy.
Atelier Ryza broke a little bit away from it and made the battle feel a bit more real time with ATB style combat.
On switch there are 9 Ateliers(Arland Trilogy/Dusk Trilogy/Lulua/Ryza 1+2), at the moment plus 1 Spinoff(Nelke) with 3 (remade) Titles(Mysterious trilogy) coming in march or april.

Ryza or Ayesha are good entry points in my opinion. Both beeing good stand alone titles, even though you might getting more interested in their respective worlds.

I found Sakuna because of my love for atelier or Harvest moon(now named Story of Seasons)-games.

Other than that maybe take a look at moonlighter?

The Okami series do not have farming but otherwise are quite similar to this game.

Then as others have mentioned; all them Vanillaware games.

And since this thread was already necro'd, I'll just update this post too.

Rune Factory 4 Special should be released on Steam sometime this Fall, and Rune Factory 5 has an ETA of May 20 next year, but XSeed will sometimes push back release dates even further if they feel they need to for quality purposes (which is always fine by me!)
The game also reminded me of other hybrid indie games like Recettear, which doesn't have farming, but which has its time divided so you spend half of it working in a shop and the other half exploring dungeons (in a top-down style ARPG.)
rune factory 5
