When you're in the middle of a skill, a successful parry completely negates that skill.
Essentially being punished for playing well is not fun.
Either don't let it interrupt skills, or give us an SP refund if it happens and the skill never went off.
Or if the intention is to force players to be more careful about when to use skills, then let the punishment for bad skill usage be that parries can't be used during skill animations and force the skill to play out.
I would rather be punished for poor skill usage that doesn't let me parry, then be punished for good parry timing. Either one would have saved the numerous unfair deaths I've had because of this bug. Sometimes the parry isn't even intentional, I'm just trying to preemptively dash in the middle of a mosh pit.
Would you be able to send your full DxDiag output, what kind of controller you are using, and whether you are using it via Bluetooth or wired to support@xseedgames.com ?
Sakuna's eyes blank. I try restart the game and change place. only at home pupil of the eyes is missing.

Same problem.
I had him out gathering resources when this happened. Kaimaru was forced back but the big guy stayed out. Doesn't matter how many times I talk to him, eat, sleep, nothing. Whatever scene was supposed to happen now won't take place and I presumably now have to go and re-play the progress I had done up to that point as well as all the progress I had made after that point in order to continue the game.
With my luck it'll be a hard lock and never trigger now. Hopefully the save data is okay.
Edit: I'm seeing videos of people having areas unlocked that I don't without being nearly as far as I am. I have 84 exploration and about to enter year 8, yet I'm stuck at Chapter 4 and have no Tiger Jaw Pass, no Coursing Falls. I have no option to go back to the capital as seemed to have been promised after beating the Mechanical Warriors.
Don't know how ruined my save is now that I'm finding more guides showing I should have had areas unlocking for me waaaaaay sooner than this.
Edit: For those who struggle with this, the Demolition Deity achievement only happens in Mushroom Forest where birds crash into Shrooms at an angle where they hit multiple times, there are videos on the internet on how to get it. Do not try to get it manually in combat, I think the achievement bugged and only works the way I've mentioned above.
