Should I get this on Switch or PC?
When I can I like to get games on my Switch because of handheld yada yada yada. Anyone have any opinions here? How are the controls on the Switch, how legible is the game in handheld, UI, etc. I will say it looks pretty gorgeous on the PC.

im in the same boat as you, still undecided. you could always buy it on steam and return it within 2 hours if you feel like u would enjoy it more on switch. i'm thinking about doing that. also on steam there are achievments while on switch there aren't if you like that type of feature. but on switch you get the case and get to play it anywhere

Everyone has their own tolerance this stuff. I'll say that the on the switch, the controls are fine and the text and menus are perfectly legible to me. The game does a good job at hovering around 60fps in combat both handheld and docked but I have noticed dips to 50ish. The artstyle kinda helps the game look decent at lower resolutions, however the shadows look like ass.

Appreciate the reply. I actually wind up playing the games I buy on Switch so I think I will pick this up there. Can you confirm if there are in-game achievements on the Switch, or achievements are Steam only?

In particular the part of the game that looked like it might be a little squeezed on handheld was the 3d farming stuff.

yeah i think i'm going to get it on switch also, i feel like it would be a good game for sitting on the couch and playing handheld while watching anime or a movie, the farming seems relaxing for that sort of thing. on pc you are tied to the desk. and yeah i'm not so sure if there are in-game achievements hopefully someone can answer that for you

So sad the Switch has no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forum like the Epic store so we have to come here to talk about the game it's pathetic lol.

In my experience, as an adult, the portable-ness of the Switch actually makes it more adult friendly.

Anyways I picked it up on the Switch and so far its been fantastic. Haven't noticed any performance issues or cramped screens in handheld. The one thing I will say is the bandage-toss ability is a little janky, but not sure if its the same way on PC.

i really like the switch version, performance is good and even on handheld the controls are good enough that i don't wish i was using a pro/ps4 controller

I prefer pc but I play with controller. I think I won't get the satisfaction planting rice on small screen as Im on big screen now.

My laptop can't quite run the game and I've no disposable fund to move onto desktop (yet). Hence I'll buy the Switch version when it comes out in Australia... on 20th.
Even without that consideration I'm okay with farming part having only 30fps. Being able to play it in bed is more important to me.

Switch has worse hardware than most of current PC's... so it really depends if you want to play it without lag/locked frame rate and chugging.

I have upgraded my laptop with more RAM and better SSD's so it works really great on external monitor with 60fps and 1080p.
