How do I increase aesthetic/luck in my rice?

It seems every other attribute increases after each harvest except aesthetic. I'm dumping lots of aesthetic increasing items in fertilizer twice a day. Is there anything I'm missing, like temperature, water depth, or some other growing condition that affects aesthetic?

I don't know if this matters, but I'm playing on my wife's Switch, not Steam.

you need to read Aesthetic Scroll from spring to autumn, reason why your aesthetic not increasing like the rest Stats might be you use Yield,Heartiness or Aroma Farming method

You can also 'buy it' which is what I do instead..

IIRC it was either hemp(3 rice cost) + silk(6 rice cost) that I fertilize each day or the onion + cucumber combo(both are 3 rice per), don't remember which exactly.
White rice price is 1/3rd of that.

One of those is magic, another one is luck, those were stats that were always falling behind for me and those are relatively cheap purchases in the capital shop... so yeah, those 4 are something I always fertilized each day every day.

Another good food to buy for fertilize is green onion, but it's almost never sold and doesn't last long sadly.

I fertilized with 3 of those each day basically and simple white rice upkeep was enough to maintain this schedule..

On top of that you need to send taemon and yue to get medicinal herbs, which is another +25 each stat per day(I on average get 1 per day, sometimes 0, sometimes up to 3-4)

Just send everyone to the Cavern and you can easily get 5+ Medicinal Herbs in a single day. While they all prefer gathering a particular kind of ingredient, that doesn't mean they won't gather the special ingredients, either. You can also do this to focus on gathering a particular kind of powder, which provides 20 points towards a stat (other than skill powder, which provides 10 to two), or if you really need a bunch of salt fast, and so on.
