I do plan to edit them into a format that is more in line with the original and see if that plays out well with the game. If I like how it turns out then I'll definitely post it for ppl to try out.
I'm working on replacing one of the opening cutscenes with the first one you linked. I'll be sure to leave another post once I can figure it out.
That's an easier, simpler way of doing it. For some reason I chose my own, rather difficult way of getting through this situation.
Managed to convert the .bik file into a streamable format so I could import it into Sony Vegas Pro and render it after merging the game's other original clips together. I had to convert the file because Sony Vegas cannot access .bik files. On another note, I managed to fit the video that was mentioned in the PS2's version to replace the original Splinter-Cell introduction clip as seen in the PC version. After finishing up, I used the RadTools program in order to save the rendered .mp4 as a .bik file, and it seemed to unfold as expected, until I attempted to load the replacement clip I made, in the game.
