yes, implement native controller support with button prompts for all popular controller and include 16:9/higher resolutions support. not really the future but something we need since 2002. i am sure you have an intern that can do that in 10 min. tops.
Edit: here an idea how and what needs to be done:

Ubisoft truly likes to drop the ball
This is the way.
I can confirm the controller mod on moddb linked in this thread MOSTLY works just like the original Xbox version of the game. I just seem to remember you could use the dpad to select items, in this mod you have to use the left stick and then press trigger to select the tool, but it's good enough imo.
Also the widescreen mod on github.
Put these things in the official release please and fix the dpad support for tools. It would be really easy to implement. People would love Ubisoft and this would generate positive PR.
Yeah, you can start off by doing updates on your older games. Modernize it. Guild Wars 1 still has a developer that works on bringing the game up to 2024 standards and offers modern QoL improvements. Bring in native widescreen support, windowed full screen, and controller support to all original splinter cell games
You're gonna go under as a business. You might as well do something good for us before you do. If you don't want to, just stop charging for the game and let people download it for free.
