Game breaking bug at chinese embassy (2nd part)

When you get to the point were there's 3 soldier destroying the computers trying to wipe out data. No matter what i do, how fast i take them out lamber tells me they destroyed it and i get mission failed. Even if they barely shoot one computer.

Have you played this mission before, if yes, has it been without this issue?

Without supplying specifics to your actions, I can't tell if you're doing wrong something wrong, waiting to long to access the comp or if it's in fact a glitch.

You don't have to take anybody out to in the two rooms to succeed.

This is my solution.
shoot the light above the lone standing BG blocking your passage through the room just as the 2 men begin firing at the comps in the main room.
Then maintain cover of darkness as you creep around the BG to the small office door opposite side of the room. Close office door, maintain cover go right to the com and access.
Move to the exit, open the door use a sticky cam to pop the nearest ceiling light above you in Hlwy. Retrieve the SC remain along the left side of the Hlwy to the left turn at the opposite end.

I figured it out. It's because once i K.O one of them the other two go on alert mode (without seeing me). No matter how many computers they destroyed (definitely not all of them. Not the one i need intact i can tell you that). That would give me a mission failed screen.

I've done the mission before but never had that problem. All i had to do is what you're suggesting or K.O them without them noticing anything.

It's been so long, (I bought SC1 shortly after it came out), I might have tried to KO the one near the wall opening on my 1st run of the game and failed like you say.

If you're interested, in some ideas, you haven't considered, I bought the steam version in 2020 so I could finally record my MO of the game.

Sorry for the spazzy moves, I'd never played the SCs on a PC before. My 2001 xbox dies in 2018 and I had a hard time controlling Sam's movements with the scroll wheel.
