Night vision issues
I'm having problems with night vision. When I get to the bit of the tutorial where you have to shoot out the lights. My night vision goggles glitch out when I try to use them. But the other thing is this only happens when I'm in a pitch black room for some reason. Does anyone know what's going on?

It's ok, I fixed it, I found out it was caused by a thing that stops the flickering cutscene issue. However I've now got the flickering cutscene issue. Hooray.

If you care about the cutscenes, you can navigate to C:\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Splinter Cell\videos,
and watch all the cutscenes in VLC. They probably will not work with the windows default video player, since they are in .bik files and I'm not sure if they are supported, but they definitely work on VLC media player.

In the videos folder, all the files that start with gd at the beginning or just tutorial videos for your gadgets, just ignore them :)
Aw that breaks my immersion though! Thanks for the suggestion but I've already got the PS2 version so I may as well just play that.

Also the new Windows 10 update fixed the cutscenes so check for updates for version 1607, and then delete all the files you got to patch it. Might help.
Oh ok, thanks. I'll give that a go

Fixes games with DirectX8, so if you had issues with any DirectX8 game, it might help with this update.
Oh, I didn't realise it was a Windows update I thought it was a Splinter Cell update (don't know why I thought that). That's good that they did that, I thought they forgot how PC Gaming works due to their ports of Gears Of War and Quantum Break.
