[uplay] general protection fault on linux

ok, yes i know, this game doesnt support linux but, i got uplay working using lutris so, shut your heck!

so, when i start playing the game, its rather inconsistant. sometimes its a black screen and it gives me an error and the other times it works rather well till i get into the first mission. when i do get into the mission, nearly all the the textures dont show (its nearly all black but with some lighting), the cutscene plays and then it gives me the error.

what can i do to fix it?

well, i found somewhat of a workaround (for the cutscene anyway). in the splintercell.ini, ForceShadowMode=0 fixes the black textures however, still crashes after it!

the odd thing is that trackmaina turbo (the only modern game i've been arsed to download) runs flawlessly on uplay!
