Pandora Tomorrow on Windows 10? [FIXED]
EDIT: As it turns out, I fixed this by replacing my SplinterCell2.exe file with another one.

I've spent the last 4 or so hours trying to get SC:PT to work without any luck. I've re-installed it twice, installed all the patches from the PCGamingWiki and tried opening the game from SplinterCell2.exe without any luck. Every time I try to launch the game I get the following error:

LockRect failed: 88760868

History: UD3DRenderDevice::ReadPixels <- UD3DRenderDevice::Present <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

I currently have all the splinter cells and they work perfectly on my windows 10 pc. if you bought Pandora Tomorrow on steam try verifying cache or if bought on disc try reinstalling. You could also try adding windows 7 compability by creating a shortcut of it and running it with windows 7 settings. this is because most old games like these are not supported for newer versions of operating systems. hope this helps, and please dont hesitate to ask.

Yep, tried all this with no luck at all. No matter what I try I always get that error message. It's a shame because every single other game in the series works flawlessly.

You need a cracked exe file for Pandora Tomorrow to work on Windows 10. PT contains Securerom, and Securerom has been disabled for Windows 10. Anything using it will not function correctly on Windows 10.

Really? Works for me without another exe on windows 10. Official disc version.

I also have the official disc version and this was the only way I could get the game to even launch. This is a bit of an issue I've had with older games on Windows 10 and this is almost always the fix. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Max Payne being some other examples.

I'd recommend GameCopyWorld for 'no-disc' patches and trainers etc. If you can get past the ads, the content has always been clean across a wide variety of games over the years.

It DOES depend on having the original game data - it's not a torrent site - but means that PCs without disc drives (like my Alienware Alpha) can play a variety of legacy games without issue.

SC:PT patch v 1.01 is the one I used, works like a charm on Win10 with the widescreen mods, shadows fix, controller setup etc.

This is sickening. You find a fix and you don't even post a link for others. How am I supposed to know where to find this safe fix for my game that won't load the Single Player mode? Its a disc copy.

Hey buds, this is old I know, but Harry I saw your video on Pandora Tomorrow, and I was wondering exactly what did you do? I tried the no-cd fix, and stuff. I am just looking for help because I am envious of you guys, I love SC and I wanna play this game so bad. If you could help I'd really really appreciate it :)

I'm really sorry, but it's been so long since I fixed it that I couldn't possibly say it. Your best bet is to use the PCGamingWiki page and grab all the fixes there. From what I've seen they've updated it quite a bit from the last time I visited.

Other than that though, you'd probably be better off playing the OG Xbox version or even the PS3 port if they're available to you. Sorry about that.
