Help?

So I've recently bought the pack of the first four important games and im going through the first one. Anyways, im on the Oil Rig mission and at the beginning you're supposed to use a zipline, but halfway through there's an explosion. that's not the problem. Whenever i land on the platform, it bugs out so it just sends me falling into the ocean. Is this intentional to tell you "Hey there is another way" or is my game bugged or am i doing something wrong?

just quick save before you grab on the zipline. And keep pushing forward until he eventually grabs the railing. I had to retry a couple of times as well.

As said keep pressing forward until he rises up to the platform

If you really got stuck you could enable console commands and noclip. I don't remember all console commands but the noclip command is the same as in UT2 afaik. The console should be enabled by default in the first SC game.
