Hello, I am a player from China and I have some suggestions about this game. Sorry for my incorrect words and sentences if there are some because English is not my first language.

First, about the language. Obviously, the Chinese version is translated by machine or some translate apps. And I have to say that's a chaos!! You can't image that how terrible it is!! Most of the words are incorrect. I knew every character, but I had to guess when they were put together -- oh please, and Chinese is my first language! Tutorials--they are all not been translated. They are all English and They're even all caps -- a disaster, and I don't know how I managed to get so far.

Then, Some instructions in the game. I don't know how many frames a log can become- Of course, boards or wooden columns neither. I have to waste materials in my manufacturing interface, producing a bunch at a time.

Third, I think there should be some guidance about the route. I wasted a lot of time to find the big island then I found out that if I go to the sea, a new mission will be triggered. But there is no route guidance.

Finally I want to say, this is a good game. I expecting the full game and I can definitely say I will pay for it-If you improve the Chinese version of it.

Thank you, and hope this game goes well.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. And yes we know that translation wasn't proper one in this demo. But yes, we will make it for sure better one

Please put in a motion blur !!! My eyes !!!

What are you talking about? There is motion blur. It sucks, I want it off! Lol.

After getting to the big island, I had to stop playing. The motion blur and narrow FOV made me feel sick and made my eyes ache. Please include an option to change these settings, especially not being able to turn off motion blur will turn A LOT of people away from your game.

Here's the stuff I thought of up to where I got up to:
The good:
1. It is very beautiful, especially as the sun sets over the water
2. The building models look good.
3. The gameplay loop seems like it could be fun with a bit of work.

The bad:
1. Please include a tutorial point to tell players they can hold items. I thought my game was broken as, even though I had the required items in my inventory, I was unable to press E to add the item to the blueprint.
2. The dialogue is atrocious and the voice acting even more so. I understand this is a demo so the voice actor is likely just a dev and will change later on so that's fine, but please hire a proper writer, or someone with experience writing natural dialogue.
3. The natives are cringe worthy and borderline offensive. Cannibal, head hunting tribes, cut off from technology, on the islands, that magically speak English (or whatever language the protagonist uses)? Come on! Sure, there are a couple of tribes that have no contact with the outside world, but they are in the Amazon, and they do not speak English. Maybe make it a hippie commune, or a cultist group or something so that it at least makes sense for them to be able to communicate with the protagonist
4. As said earlier, the lack of ability to turn off motion blur, increase FOV, though if you're not worried about getting people who suffer from motion sickness to try the game, that can obviously wait till later in the dev cycle.

Great! Thanks for pointing our to those issues and we will work on them for sure!

First of all, thank you very much for this nice demo. I enjoyed playing it.

I would join the previous speaker. The story with the natives, who understand me without any problems, is a bit unrealistic. But I could rather smile about that.

The only thing that really annoyed me was the allocation of resources. As soon as a resource is empty, the assignment disappears. A couple of times I managed to prevent any reassignment. Seems to have to do with a right click on the slot (bug ?). The use of resources is tricky this way.

Great! Glad that you enjoyed playing it! Ok, cool we will take that to consideration and implement changes in the next build from us

Yes please give us the option to turn off 'motion blur'. Cheers!

i loved to play your demo, cool concept and the houses look amazing!
i dont have motion sickness but i dont like motion blur and an option to turn them off would be appreciated.
about the game, we just gathering resources and building? there will be more things to do? you have a great opportunity to add some survival things, mining, crafting tables, forges, some weapons (bow, spear, primitive knife), like in green hell but in this game we can build villages and help the natives.
building is cool but only doing that will make people boring fast.
again, thanks a lot for a demo and lets us try you game :) will wishlist him and wait for more news :)
take care.

Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback and ideas! Yes, we do have plans to add in the future more crafting and more survival things in the game.

Hi,

first, the game looks quite interesting, but I was surprised by what I saw in the trailer to how the game worked. The trailer reminded me of the Youtube videos where they build these Jungle houses, and I am sure that is where the inspiration comes from.
My kids love to watch those sometimes and I thought that would be great to play a game with them.
I was surprised about it having survival elements, and a little put off by it to say the truth since I nearly died, not finding the water flask. All I wanted was to gather some stuff and build what was needed.
As was said before, the natives are not great. I would consider them rather offensive in the setting. If this would be a fantasy world or set in the distant past you could argue about it, but here it is not good at all.
On suggestion would be that you are tasked to build a vacation resort for an adventure vacation in traditionally built, modern houses. The Resort can be run by the natives, you are from there and have studied architecture, and now you help your old village with this project.

Apart from this, these are the things that are related to the alpha state that I wish would work differently:
- At the beginning be clearer where you find the food and drink (if you need this part of survival). I missed the little pieces on the floor and was annoyed I cannot get to any of the wrecks due to them being out of bounds.
- For logging trees have an indicator when you are close enough to hit the tree. (Like the circle turning green if something that can be hit by the tool is at a valid distance).
- When you put a material into the hot bar, show how much is left and have a placeholder for 0 of something, and grey it out when it's empty. So that things stay where they are when I produce more of it. The inventory can work differently, but the hot bar should work like that.
- Dragging something off the hot bar should free up that spot.

Anyway, great idea for a game. For me, it would be perfect when the survival part and the offensive natives would just go away and it's just crafting and building.

Honestly, I think we could do without the survival element entirely. I got hyped about this game because I liked the idea of building and creating old school elements.

A survival sim with a heavy crafting focus would be awesome, but it doesn't look like this one would do that well as that, rather than just building unique and interesting creations. Kind of like it's trying to compete with other survival sims that have crafting - when it really doesn't have to.

You guys have a great game premise as is - don't muck it up by trying to get in on more genre markets.
