Known Issues
Known issues

- Dropdown menus not closing properly
- When using a wireless headset with the microphone active, audio can become crackly/static
- Wallpaper sometimes turns darker and a deep red
- Craft Root beer requires Malted Grains will stay on the menu even after purchasing the grains
- The bar is shown as full and you cannot adopt the cat. The bar is actually at 99% and this can occasionally happen. The devs are looking for a way to make this more readable
- Not being able to remove windows.
Workaround: Remove the wall/floor the window is on and it'll go back into your inventory

- Having too many traits will cause the UI to be a bit crowded
- Saving and quitting out right as a day ends will cause the end of day screen to be blank when loading back up
- Not calling regulars regularly (no pun intended lol) can lead to the notification over the phone box to stack up and can potentially lead to crashing

- Strawberry milkshake requires strawberries - Message won't go away even after purchasing strawberries 🍓
- -25% furniture trait is not working
- Relationship levels do not portray well which can cause crashes later on
- A few tiles of the diner floor have a pixel of the red framing in their bottom right corner
- Chocolate sundays and Strawberry milkshakes reappear to unlock after already being unlocked and show up on the menu twice

- Zoe changes skin color
- Some items will remain in the shop after buying them even though buying them multiple times has no effect ( Flooring / Wallpapers)

Not a bug but will be addressed in the future:
- Running out of staff to hire. More will be added in the future after the major bugs are fixed ❤️
- Disabled recipe selection functionality, since it was confusing a lot of players. We're working on a more elegant solution that better communicates the recipe mechanic.

Had an issue (not sure if its already listed here) where my employee gets stuck and refuses to move. No furniture around her, hasn't actually moved from that one spot the entire day thus far. Just stops working and refuses to do tasks that she was capable of doing minutes before from the same spot. Moving furniture does not help. She only resumes tasks when i close and reopen the game, after which she moves to the exact same spot and continues as normal until roughly the same time the next day.
Could you send your savefile to support@roost.games? This will help the devs figure out the issue ^^

I've noticed a few super minor bugs.

This one is really amusing -- sometimes when I've hoarded a bunch of points and level up the same staff a number of times all at once, their hair in the portrait turns lime green. It's limited to that particular window though (it shows correctly on the staff roster and in-game), and if I close the window and reopen it their hair will display correctly, so it really doesn't affect anything.

One time I somehow managed to accidentally open the design tab at the exact moment one of my regulars started talking (it was Bonner and it was when he was leveling up, if that changes it -- I can't remember which level anymore, but the one where he gives you the bottled ship). His dialogue was over the design tab and then I exited out of that and the end of the day came... but I couldn't skip to morning. I tried waiting to see if it was just the "skip to morning" button since everything else seemed ok, but then customers never showed up the next day lol. However, once I saved my game and reloaded from the save, everything was back to normal with no issues.

Lastly, it seems like when using resources to hire new staff or readopt my kitties (thank you very much for adding that in by the way!!!), the resources aren't actually being spent, as my total doesn't go down?

Thanks for all your hard work! I'm enjoying the game so much.

I have this same problem! Cats are hungry but they have a lot of bowls, all full. They're on strike because the costumers say there aren't any cats (?) and they leave angry faces lmao

Can you check in your building menu if you have enough food bowls?

Some cats need more than 1 food bowl, and some food bowls are better than others.

I don't know if this is a bug, or just me misunderstanding the flavour text. All my current staff have the Bar Fly trait, which states that you get bonus skill points if you have bar furniture. I couldn't find a specific class of furniture called "bar furniture", but I did notice that several items of Pub furniture say "bar" in their name. So I assumed that "bar furniture" actually meant "pub furniture". However, after buying and placing down six pub chairs, I still haven't gotten the bonus skill points. Did I misunderstand, or is this a bug?

When choosing the first cat to adopt, I pressed Esc on the naming window, the game continued to go as expected, but I did not get a cat. It happened at the very beginning, so I will replay, but I expected the game to switch to the previous window to choose a different cat.

The game seems kinda plagued with crashes, I can be just normally interacting with tasks for the game to just crash to desktop. Kind of annoying when you're near the end of the day having you lose all the progress of that day.

That's not it. With the same customers (no relationship increases yet) and increasing "service" skill, the progress/skill indicator goes from 1/2 to 2/2, then suddenly 3/5 when you hit Service Lv. 3, and then it stays ?/5 after customers start leveling up. Seems to only affect delivering orders, not taking orders or chatting with fishermen once they level up (that's ?/4).

In Build mode, moving the mouse produces no sound, but moving the camera does make random "thudding" sounds (I *think* it's supposed to be hammering). Seems backwards?

1. If Pub furniture is what's required (as seems to be the case), the text needs to say Pub furniture.
2. If duplicates don't count towards your Pub totals, then that should be reflected in the tracker (and preferably also in Granny's Notebook) - I have 2 bar stools for a total of 4 Pub furniture, and the Build Mode tracker says my "Pub" stat is 4, but no bonuses for Bar Fly.

Y'all seriously need to standardize your terminology. Don't make your players (and your devs!) guess which of Stress Release, Coziness, Relaxation, Scratching Post, Toys, Cool, Fun, Entertainment, and Playtime are the same and which are different - it just leads to confusion.

My suggestions:
Coziness-->Coziness
Stress Release, Relaxation, Scratching Post-->Stress Release
Toys, Playtime-->Toys
Entertainment, Fun-->Fun
Pub, Bar-->Pub

As a matter of fact, every instance of every capitalized term (in dialogue, skill descriptions, menus, and help) should be pulled from a list of constants - that way this wouldn't be an issue, and also you'll be saving yourself some major headaches if you ever want to translate the game into another language.
