how to play with the xbox360 controller?

Place the files in /Steam/steamapps/common/Rainbow Six Vegas/Binaries

Don't get your hopes up just yet though. The game responds to input from the controller, but the controls are all jumbled and the buttons can't be mapped from inside the game. I remember playing around with the config files for controller input several months ago, so its possible I might've screwed something up then and this might only be an issue on my machine. If I find a way to unjumble the controls I'll post it here.

This fix works flawlessly for Splinter Cell Conviction and Assassin's Creed II btw.

There's an option in the menu for this game to use an Xbox 360 Controller. Does this only work for wired controllers? Seems weird that you have to download some addtional app to get this working.
