Getting excellent armor
To progress the old man and his worm's quest, I need an excellent quality armor. Are there any upgrades down the line and/or better ways to try and get this? I have a rather small percentage chance of finding one from an armor chest, and with getting only a few of those feathers a week I don't have many shots at it.

For reference, I'm getting ready to ultra ascend for the third time now.

An excellent sword, not armour (though possibly this might work too).
An excellent equipment piece is a rare version, that gives +50% on its status bonus. Its name is written in green. Keep farming stuff.

You get the excellent armor the same way you got the excellent sword for the quest before, just a % chance to get excellent when you create the chest armor.
Try to focus on doing this quest, the reward is the tactical armor plate and it's an essential item for doing quests way quicker.

Wrong quest~ That's ok though, it's the same thing but slightly different. Takes place in the east mountain zone.

Sorry, completely forgot, that you needed an armour for the mountain quest. Already had an excelent one, when it was introduced, and so never really noticed the need.
Wasn't there a shop item, that increases the drop rate for excellent items, or am I confusing something?

Yes I think I bought that one, as I don't have access to anything right now that increases the chance to get it. I figured just a matter of grabbing chests till you get lucky, but wanted to check. Thanks
