Dumb Bow Question

Hi guys, I can't seem to fire arrows suddenly? Still roughly starting out here so I'm not sure what happened.

I'd guess this is something dumb i missed, or screwed up somewhere? So, i HAVE:
-first 3 bow upgrades- bow, boost shooting, and kill spirit enemys.
-On Hot Souls quest and and in Mystic Valley.
-Went to bed and left it on overnight, came back game was super lagged out- closed and restarted.
-Now bow doesn't shoot somehow? My quest is stalled at like 988/5000
-no arrows while jumping regardless of button presses

Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!

Strange stuff. I can't remember anybody having such a problem over the years. Let's throw in a few random ideas.
Do you have the bow unlocked as an income item currently? Maybe you just ascended, and I am not completely sure, if you can shoot it without buying it.
Could you try, if you can shoot without active boost? If your progress did not save properly after your long login session, maybe that upgrade glitched out somehow.
Beside that, have you tried restarting the game once more or to ascend? The usual "turn it off and back on" approach might at least be worth a shot...

There's only few regular users in the forum here, so if the issue persists, you got a better chance asking at reddit or the discord chat, in case you use one of those.

When i saw you reply i ascended and quit/restart the game. Starting from fresh, the bow works without even buying it so that's great, maybe it was a 1-off, hopefully anyway! If i need more help i'll post again. You freakin IT Crowded me and i didn't even think of it myself, i feel so dumb lol!!

I know exactly what you're talking about. It happened to me as well. I was unable to shoot even with multiple upgrades, I just jumped no matter how I mashed the buttons.

It went away after a while, no idea what was causing it.
